My first yoga experience was in 2010 and there has been no looking back since then. The search for knowledge and self-discovery led me to pursue a Hatha Yoga teacher training under the guidance of Pradeep Sattwamaya. As I progressed on the journey, my interest in psychology & self-inquiry guided me to do a teacher training in Yoga Nidra with Swami Yogaratna Saraswati.
I feel blessed to have been mentored by my teachers, who are both disciples of Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati (Satyananda Bihar Yoga tradition).
I am an ardent student of philosophy, psychology, ancient scriptures, ayurveda & nature. My approach is a holistic combination of movement, breathing, mindfulness & introspection. I am actively involved as faculty in Teacher Trainings, Corporate Programs, Studio Sessions & Personal Coaching, apart from being a proponent of Yoga Nidra.
I didn't really believe in yoga before I started practising. I couldn't sleep properly at night and have allergic sinusitis. With the help of yoga, I am able to sleep & breathe better. Shobhit is an amazing instructor who makes sure you get the fundamentals right.

Shobhit's classes are balanced with equal attention on the physical & meditative aspect. He encourages you to accept your body's capabilities and develop patience. Personally, I love the yin variations of each asana he offers and the calming yoga nidra session after an intense class.
