RYT-200 Hatha Yoga | 200-hr Yoga Nidra

My first yoga experience was in 2010 and there has been no looking back since then. I was always intrigued by the science & philosophy behind this ancient art.

So, I pursued a 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher training under the guidance of Pradeep Sattwamaya, and a 200-hour specialisation in Yoga Nidra with Swami Yogaratna Saraswati. I am blessed to have been mentored by them, who are both disciples of Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati (Satyananda Bihar Yoga tradition).

I advocate a holistic approach of making the body strong & agile with Asanas, cultivating breath awareness with Pranayama, tapping into our inner potential with Yoga Nidra, and calming the fluctuations of mind with Meditation. The key is being aware of our breath & emotions to cultivate mindfulness & compassion, and everyone in the modern world can benefit from those qualities.

I didn't really believe in yoga before I started practising. I couldn't sleep properly at night and have allergic sinusitis. With the help of yoga, I am able to sleep & breathe better. Shobhit is an amazing instructor who makes sure you get the fundamentals right.

Shobhit is a fantastic instructor who is brilliant at creating a calm and peaceful environment for yoga. I have been practising for over a month and I am in love with it. Can feel a difference in my mind and body. Would recommend everyone to join.

Shobhit's classes are balanced with equal attention on the physical & meditative aspect. He encourages you to accept your body's capabilities and develop patience. Personally, I love the yin variations of each asana he offers and the calming yoga nidra session after an intense class.
